That's it, I've Had it! And no I'm not talking about my kids.
So we had our family reunion back in June - and I forgot my camera. Then it was the 4th of July and Ethan's birthday - and I forgot my camera. Then just today we got back from a ward camp out and I remembered to take my camera, even charged it before we left, and it was dead by the time I got it out to take picture of the kids playing in the creek. So that's it I'm buying a new camera, and a good one this time. After looking at Heather's wonderful beach pictures and Emily's gorgeous Alaska pictures that should be made into postcards and everyone telling me my pictures and fuzzy and awful and I should buy a new camera I'm going to do it.
Clear pictures hopefully coming soon!
On a side note, we went camping this weekend for one night and had lots of fun! We hiked, played in the creek, ate somemores, sat on a somemore, and a great breakfast! The pictures that I was going to take would have been really cute.

Dinners
For the last month I've been trying one new recipe every week. Some dinners have been better than others. There was Cauliflower soup, Squash Risotto, Chicken Salad Sandwich, and Apple Glaze Chicken. I'd like to thank Pampered Chef for the Apple Glazed Chicken, it was super good and the only one that we liked and the kids have been begging me to make it again. The kids know how hard I work on the new dinners and they also know that they are allowed to have an opinion but still need to be nice about it. These are some of the comments I've gotten lately.
"I like it mom, but just don't make it again."
"At least you know you tried your best."
"It's good, I don't want seconds, but I think I can finish my firsts"
"It's was a little bit disgusting, but good."
And the ever famous, "What are the green things?"

Gardens
I spent a couple of hours today planting a small garden with the kids. We have a bell pepper plant, 25 onions, strawberries and a raspberry plant. A couple hours later Ethan runs into the house with two of the baby onion bulbs and says, "Look mom, there done!"
